pod, I found the props at 5Dimes. Cashed the +705 prop on the Tigers tonight. 5Dimes seems to only release these props for the Sunday and Wednesday Night Baseball games on espn, and all the playoff games.

I do not bet hockey, but you can browse the live lines of 5D and see what u can find

Congrats but that was a horrid price.

Use pinnys moneylines/run lines to get fair value on team X by exactly 1 and you'll see what a ripoff these props are at 5 dimes.

CHUBNUT: Would you care to elaborate on this? Theoritically I see no reason you couldn't find a series of +EV plays looking at lines from different books. Maybe not a whole lot, but its possible...

Life is short. One of the main things everyone needs to realise quickly is spending endless hours formatting gambling plays is going to be not only detrimental to ones health but a waste of what you will probably look back on as a waste of quality time.

These sort of at best minimal gain bets( this is not one of them) are really ficticious as they're great to talk about and analyse the percentages but the reality is in betting, your usually on the wrong end of those percentages. Throw in the enevitable time you miss a play its doomsday.

I hate posting in the think tank that this game is very difficult and have I had plenty of infractions because of it but I will keep telling people, winning at betting is not easy and most of the posts on here are from jokers. There is no easy answer, there is no easy formula, the nonchalent posts of easy winnings and steadfast systems need to be ridiculed by you because they are certainly are not by the people in charge.

Dude, I appreciate on one hand that you are giving a warning, yet on the other , the op is obviously trying to get an idea if he has an edge and obvious not as experienced. Nobody in this thread has posted nonchalent posts of easy winnings and someone with experience like pancho gave some great advice. I havent seen anyone
other than bill the cop talk about winning records etc. so your posts are really starting to look like trolling. If you have some solid advice/ give it, otherwise go troll elsewhere.

I've been working with the NHL for some time and was looking at this question in that arena. I looked at the 2006-2008 NHL seasons and found that the favorite won by 1 goals 24.54% of the time? Does that seem right to anyone? I was surpised at how high it was compared to the MLB numbers in this thread...

Not surprising. First the average is 5+ goals in NHL, 8+ runs in MLB. Second, any NHL regulation time tie is automatically a 1-goal win, while in baseball there is also a chance for a rally in extrainnings (or worse beating, a walkoff homerun with men on bases). On the other hand, you are getting worse prices for a hockey middle than for baseball.
