Can variance measured be by teams

It would be interesting to know if, say a Nick Saban coached Alabama team has less variance vs the number than a Les Miles coached LSU team.

Does anyone compile statistics on this?

It seems like this would have value if there are patterns in this.

my guess is sample sizes would be way too small to ever know.
