When I used to go to the track, there was this old guy that told me the same thing. If he saw a horse take a dump on the way to the gate, he'd bet that horse. He also bet any gray horse in a race. Laying horses is way to go. Man, picking a winner is hard. In some races, there's 20+ horses. How you will pick the winner? Not easy..Not to mention, -usually- there's no value on a favourite. Even -200 favs lose sometimes.
