Hello...I just joined the forum and would just like to say hello, this is a very interesting forum, one of the most interesting forums I have seen on the net.
A little bit about myself...
I live in Australia and I have been a very keen follower of horse racing for just over 30 years.
When I was 14 years old, I started going to the track with my brother off and on, I was hooked in a flash.
I started going every week. I would buy all the form guides I could on the Friday after work, then I would study the races that night for Saturday. I would go to the trots and greyhounds also, but my real passion was for thoroughbred horse racing. I would live for horse racing, nothing else seemed to matter. I would even take time off from going to college on Wednesdays to go the the races, that put me in trouble with my parents but they very didn't seem that worried. One day I came home and my mother said, "How was college?"...I said "yeah it was ok". She replied with a louder tone of voice, "You didn't go did you?, your college rang and said you didn't turn up today". I replied, "Ok I went to the races". My mum said your grounded. My dad said, "Well the most important thing is, did you win?". I laughed and said yes
I kept going to the races every week, but sometimes I would play tennis or Athletics as my mother wanted me to start playing sports, but that didn't last even though I was extremely good at sports.
All I wanted to do was go to the races and study the form guides, I just couldn't get enough.
Right up till I was 26yo I had some very good wins, but my luck changed. My mother died from breast cancer and just one year after my father died of a sudden heart attack. I guess I was walking around in shock for a year or two, it took me a long time to get over the loss of my parents.
I moved to a new state to live to start a new life. Had a few years off work and just attended the racetrack. I traveled to the US a few times to check out the racing in America. I only traveled to California, but really loved the racing there. I had only recently stopped watching US racing as calracing, com stopped the live feeds on the net this year to Australian people. Very sad, but I won't have a bet if I can't watch it.
Since I was 14yo, I have had so many betting systems I have lost count. I would come up with a new one after so much hard work, think to myself - gee this looks great - this could be the one, but then after a few weeks it would start to put me in the poor house yet again.
I had always been a big supporter of place betting, seeing that you have got 3 chances of a payoff in one race I just decided to put some hard work in to find a system that works for the place bet.(Show bet in the US). This year I turned 48yo and I now can say that I have finally found that winning system that I have been looking for for 2 decades. I am that excited about it it now has my full attention. It is a place system where you have to bet everyday, so it makes it very hard to do if your working in a job.
Without giving away the secret, its a formula of a few things I have put together and betting on the right meetings makes it a winning formula every week. Since I have been following it it hasn't returned a losing week yet to my amazement.
I would love to hear other peoples success stories.
Also, are there any Americans that love to bet on racing in Australia?
Love to hear your thoughts.
Happy Betting!
