    Handicapping Stats website suggestions
Hey guys, I'm working on a project with one of our developers for a handicapping stats DB.
It's gonna be free and for everyone (you won't need an account with us to access it).

It's gonna be aimed at the "intelligent recreational bettor" sorry can't think of any other way to put it.
All of the serious math guys already have all this data and are much better at using it than I'll ever be.

Right now it's focusing on the North American major sports
    NFL NCAAF
    NBA NCAABB
    MLB
    NHL

It has easy searches by team and league for example, Game Results (final score, Closing line, Closing total, ATS results, team vs team results (ATS and SU). I am going for about 6 years of data per sport.

Other than ATS and total results for each team. What sorta stuff would "you" like to see in such a project to make it something you'd look at from time to time.

I've put in some simple "quick queries" that I came up that I thought people would look at. Eventually I'd like to have the end user be able to create their own query (if they'd like to).

    For example:
After losing 2 games in a row ATS
between 3 and 7 dog on the road
between 3 and 7 favorite at home
between 3 and 7 favorite on the road
Total is between 40 and 46.5
Total is between 47 and 51.5
    Vs. different conference
    in october games
VS. Teams with a winning % less than or equal to .50 outright

I know most here will laugh at trend based stuff... but people who don't gamble for a living like it and use it to help make some of their decisions when wagering. And again remember it's FREE info gathered in one spot in a easy to read format (something I've had a hard time finding on the web).

Thanks for reading and any suggestions if you have them.

Sounds to be an interesting project. What's the website going to be?

It would just be a sub-page of the books main website where I work xxx.com/ats_trends or something like that.

In addition to the ATS and totals data I would like to see a project like this include box score data. One of the problems I have now is finding data sources with both the ATS/Totals data and box score data in a format that's easy to work with.
