    Money line calculation question
If team 'a' has a 61 percent chance of winning a baseball game, what would be the correct money line, and what is the formula to calculate that?

    In Excel:

    =IF(T14>0.5,-(T14/(1-T14))*100,-(-((1-T14)/(T14))*100))

(T14 is the cell where you have your W%)

    Your example:
    =IF(.61>.5,-(.61/(1-.61))*100,-(-((1-.61)/(.61))*100))

There's an odds converter here on SBR in the Tools section. It won't give you the formulas but at least you can convert any ML/%/decimal odds/ etc...

        61/(100-61) = 61/39 = -156 No Vig Line
