Had an idea for college basketball 2h parlay. But not sure how to backtest it does anybody hear know how to do the research?
Heres my theory: Favorite for the game is 9-15 pts. They are up at the half between 13-16 pts. Now bet the favorite and the under in the 2h. I believe this is corelated because the books still have to set the total high enough for 2h to account for fouls at the end, but if the favorite covers 2h (usualy a 2.5-4 pt favorite) there wont be any fouls so most of the time it goes under.
Example would be College of Charelston tonight. 9.5 pt favorite for game. Up 13 at half. 2h was -2.5 and 76 I believe. College of Charelston wins 2h 38-29 so easy covers on both. I would love for someone to research this over a few thousand plays but I dont know how to backtest it. If anybody can help, we could find something very profitable here I think.
