    Question about 3 points spreads
I never understood this and maybe someone can explain.

I see a lot of games with a 3 point spread where the 1h line is also 3 , but other times it is 1 to 1.5.

What goes into the different halftime lines on the same 3 point spread for the game ?

    Thanks

H1 line won't be 3 if the game line is 3.

It may be of help next time if you indicated which sport you're referring to and/or cited some examples, pokernut.

I would guess that the spread moved down to 3 from, say, 4.5 while there is very little interest in 1H market, so the 1H line stays within juice adjustments.

This is covered in another thread here in the Tank: essentially from historical records, HFA frontloads into the early part of the game. So with scoring in Football (obviously for the MFers posting here) in chunks of 3s and 7s, game and 1st half lines can easily both be 3.
