    WOW ken pomroy
ok the plot thickens for this square. KEN POMROY !!!!

does it work? how the hell can he be better than the odds makers? i am guessing that he can not but is it useful? i mean if there is a big diff, even after taking into account injuries would i be +ev blindly tailing these?

can any1 tell me if i am wasting my time here? i am guessing that i need to make extra adjustments. also reading that he under-rates home team adv. there must be many more. i am not asking for these just a yes or no would be great. a hint or 2 will be rewarded with points as always. even if that means saving points to pay for it. promise

His ratings are excellent for College Basketball, perhaps the best available and way better than any AP/Coaches/other public ranking.

Are you talking about baskets or foots?

      hello Flight
just sort of stumbled over it by mistake but people seem to be taking his baskets seriously. looks to have most of the important factors that i've been reading about.

have you or any1 tracked his projections against openers? after checking for injuries would you consider playing games with a large enough differential? will i need to work out where he is bad and where he is good or do you think i can dive in?

Pomeroy can be improved by not weighting results against teams far away in strength very much at all

For example, the games a top30 team play at home against a team rated 150 or below should just get thrown out unless the top team lost

Pomeroy's ratings are the best ones public. But you aren't going to make money betting his predicted scores in the long run. How could you? There's no one involved in betting CBB at a significant level who isn't aware of his ratings. How could anything good and public not quickly be incorporated into the market?

But I did use them to suss out a pick on Duke to win the NCAA last year. And they're very good for measuring injury impacts.

ken pom and bbstate are great for long term plays, as ^^ said, ken pomeroy as well as bbstate had duke 1 or 2 all year while the perception was they were overrated, great value for the devils in tourney last year

typically one or a few teams that are rated in top 10 efficiency that seem to fly under the radar

thank you gentlemen - much to digest

will look into futures... not too sure i want my roll tied up for that long though, especially as i am already in big for the epl winner. easy money year after year, if you have access to many books.

life is too short to waste on bad plays, especially, if like me, you get no joy from the act of gambling...

best of luck for all the teaser players today

futures are often good bets but the prospect of tying up a portion of our accouts is always tough

Well, the futures in question was only for March Madness. Not that long.

There are a few useful ways to use his projections especially to find the undervalued.

thank you sir. do you mean on a play to play basis or mostly just for futures?
