    Easy question
I Just want confirmation - if I have a % prediction of each game in a 3 game series .. how do I calculate the odds of all the series outcomes? For EG...

    Game 1 - Team A wins 45% of the time, Team B 55%
    Game 2 - Team A wins 60% of the time, Team B 40%
    Game 3 - Team A wins 53% of the time, Team B 47%

So from that how do I calculate the probabilites of Team A winning all 3, Team A winning the series 2-1, Team B winning all 3 and Team B winning the series 2-1? I'd appreciate the formulas for it if anyone can help me just so I can learn it.

I know this is VERY basic mathematics and I've arrived at a couple of figures, I just want clarification so I know I'm on the right track.

    Mucho Gracias amigos

Just multiply the W% together for the different scenarios.

    aaa .45 .60 .53 .1431
    aab .45 .60 .47 .1269
    aba .45 .40. 53 .0954
    baa .55 .60 .53 .1749
    bba .55 .40 .53 .1166
    bab .55 .60 .47 .1551
    abb .45 .40 .47 .0846
    bbb .55 .40 .47 .1034

    Team A 3-0 .1431
    Team A 2-1 .3972
    Team B 3-0 .1034
    Team B 2-1 .3563
