Help me understand betting on soccer.
    I pulled this off 5dimes:

    Wed 4/14 814 Odense BK (DEN-S) +171
    12:00PM 815 AaB Aalborg (DEN-S) +179
    816 Draw +233

So if I convert all 3 lines to odds to win...

(I converted to odds of winning, by adding the 100/(171+100)

It would be the following .359, .358, .3
If you add all 3 numbers up it will be slightly over 1.

Almost ever single line at 5Dimes I see a number greater than 1 after adding all 3 possibilities.

Does that mean that somewhere in here there should be +EV, as betting all 3 lines in the long run should generate +EV? Or am I missing something here?

    The decimal odds are 2.71, 2.79 & 3.33.

Only one of these can be a winner.

If it's the 2.71 then you gain 1.71 and lose 2 on the other 2 bets.
If it's the 2.79 then you gain 1.79 and lose 2 on the other 2 bets.
If it's the 3.33 then you gain 2.33 and lose 2 on the other 2 bets.

If you try to arb it, you will end up loosing about 2.7% of your total staked.

When betting on soccer a draw is not a push if the team you selected did not win.

You have it backwards. The percentages are the percent of the time you would need to win to break even, so anything greater than 1 is -EV for the player and anything below 1 is +EV.

It can be. If you prefer a 2-way result just bet draw-no-bet or google 'draw-no-bet calculator' if they don't offer it.

Well I know this is a bit irrelevant, but my boy Marcus Tracy plays for AAB.
