I am starting to test some strategies and was wondering what is considered good positive EV? I know anything positive is good but +.01% won't make you much money. So a good system must be 10%+?

depends, if you can find something with 1% edge, but you can get 1,000 bets a year, it is much much better than something that has a 10% edge and 5 bets a year.Comment -
To add to Peeig's correct observation above, also consider win%. You will be more profitable (and safer) betting on a system that has a 5% edge with a 60% win% than betting on a system with a 10% edge but only a 10% win%. A Kelly wager for 5% edge and 60% win% would be 6.67% of bankroll whereas a Kelly wager for a 10% edge and 10% win% would only be 1% of bankroll.
