buying 1/2 a point

Can anyone point me in the right direction of books that you can buy 1/2 a point. I know with pinnacle you can and i was informed that you could with The Greek, but have jusst signed up and cant see how to do this?

Anyone know of any other books other than pinny?

Rarely is it good to buy points. In American football on/off 3 perhaps but even that can be too expensive for what you gain.

Almost every book will let you buy half points, the only difference is how many and the price. It's probably harder to find books that won't let you buy half points than books that will.

Usually with line shopping, you should be able to get that extra half point for free.

yeah...I'd recommend always having an account at bodog as well as somewhere else. You will get that .5 point on the underdog at least 70% of the time as opposed to buying at another book. But you MUST have an account elsewhere besides bodog to complement it.

Depends on what sport you are talking about and what site you are talking about.........of course nobody is giving you a free 1/2 pt off the 3 or 7 in american footballz.........but there are other half pts that could be helpful and gotten for free

i lost 2 games last night by a half point siena and app st so i understand u wanting to do that but in the long run prob not a good idea to lay -120 all the time.. just my opinion

I always buy a 1/2 point if they don't have it on a half already. I generally only bet basketball and I hate when the lines get to more than -2.5 so I generally always buy down to there in college and down to -1.5 in pro. And even if they're giving me 8 points, I buy it to +8.5.

Funny you mention Siena, I just won $1500 on Fairfield (I think) +8.5 last night. Talk about a nail bitter at the end! I thought the Fairfield guy was fouling him for sure with that 1.9 seconds left, but he passed it away!
