I mainly gamble on horses and poker and rarely on sports.. So I am curious when I hear 'xxxx book has juicy lines'..

    What does that mean exactly?

Usually it means they have off-market lines, i.e. lines that differ from what most other books have. Most major sports betting markets are seen as pretty efficient these days, so if you can get an off-market line, it gives you and/or adds to your edge (assuming you have one).

This is what I first thought when I saw the thread title, but I suppose it could also mean high-vig lines, i.e. MLs of -270/+220

On an NFL Sunday, go to Sports Interaction and look at their lines, they are juicy.

NFL Sundays are no different than any other day there.

If everyone else is selling widgets for 15, and you found a shop selling them for 14, you jump on it. Valuation. Always search for value, discounts, etc. If you are paying market price, or, damn, a premium, then know you are doing so.

Always know the market value of things, whether you are selling stocks and bonds, selling your AK suited, or Cabbage Patch Kids on the Internet.
