    Power Ratings
I am 25 years old and a 6 year veteran of the financial services industry. Within the past 6 years I have accumulated a vast amount of wealth for myself and am looking to world of sports investment to increase my wealth. I love the intensity of sports betting but am very strict about ROI. I am currently utilizing several methods of handicapping to see which method fits me.

I am looking for efficient sources of power ratings. Can anyone advise me on where to find the top notch power ratings? Currently, I have only found statfox. However, I am looking to utilize an average of 3-4 different sources. Thanks.

I have been using sportrends PR's and software for well over 15 years and their PR's are the best around. Go to our sports forum under pro football which includes both college and pro and start reading. The forum is called New college and Pro football systems

            Barron:

There are a bunch of sites (50+) and sites that make averages of averages...all add to so-so results since they are posted and used by everyone (market forces). If you are going to go anywhere, you need to forge your own formulas and test them...lots of work...good luck. This stuff ain't your Grandpa's financial biz.

For such a smart guy you don't seem to be very resourceful. These are not hard to find.

LVSC...the line setters have a NFL power ranking. Unfortunately their posting day is not consistent.

I am not sure of the validity of their rankings....

                    check:

However, remember, setting the line has little to do with actually predicting the games....

You want a variety of free rankings and predictions?

                      Goto:

and good luck weeding the good from the bad...

Here are the top 10 predictors and their ATS winning % so far this year:
Note the predictors are all tracked simutaenously and independently by the site.

                      Harmon Forcast 67.9%
                      Beck Elo 63.3%
                      CPA Rankings 62.2%
                      Nutshell Combo 61.1%
                      Computer Adjusted Line 60.0% !!
                      Stephen Kerns 59.6%
                      Roger Johnson 58.5%
                      Steven Jens 57.8%
                      Schmidt Comp. Ratings 57.8%
                      Bihl Rankings 57.1%

Also, if you ask some of these computer predictors nicely (goto thier web pages), you might get some unique insights into how to statistically handicap games....
