Not at bigger tracks. Nyra and calif t bred is very form based. Jocks n trainers get 10 percent of winning purse. Avg nyra race 60k. Horse wins 3600 to jockey n 3600 to trainer. Way too much money with owners etc...not fixed..this isnt the 1970s.

nyplayer: No this is not the 1970's. But I have personal experience that took place in the early 1990's at Yonkers. An AWESOME story I guarantee you would like to hear about race fixing. Now, obviously guys like semibluff don't want to hear about stories that happened 30 years ago. They want SOLID facts that can help themselves NOW. I get it. But I'm a believer that ANY EDUCATION you can put between your two ears, including factual stories, cannot hurt you and will undoubtedly help you along your gambling journey. I was in the bizz in the mid 80's lucky enough to hit the winner circle more then I should have and made some great friendships.
There's a ton owners don't know the trainers and jockeys can get together ....they can battle each other etc.
If your horse is big chalk and your trainer has a track at his farm he can race your horse in the morning there on race day
an by the time you hit the backstretch the final time your done wondering why? I had a driver stiff my horse and tell me to drop him then he claimed him thru a buddy. It's a cut throat bizz inside ....but I will tell you this it's fun as hell it was the best time of my life!

Drugs are way worse in sports than racing. Never seen horse go out drinking and whore chasing all night before an event.

I general I agree with semibluff. He's exactly right about the purpose of this forum. Occasionally someone will post something that doesn't fit but generates lots of discussion and opinions. It's a waste of our time.

I didn't respond to the op's previous garbage threads in this forum. Nor did anyone else. Encouraging garbage trolls is never a good idea. It's why I didn't respond to your 1st post. However, allowing someone to 'shit on your porch' repeatedly without any response only results in that person thinking they are entitled to behave in that manner and that they are in some perverse way 'helping' maintain it by shitting on it. If it were the case a moderator wouldn't have removed his most recent thread. If I wanted to bully someone I would follow them around the site and harass them. My post history shows that I don't. That you couldn't figure out what the situation was and that you immediately rushed to both defend and empower a troll highlights your knuckle-dragging stupidity. That you fail to understand giving someone 1 betpoint effectively agrees with their post without unnecessarily bumping the thread confirms that opinion.

Stand up straight, clean the crap off of your knuckles, and endeavour to use your brain from now on. Maybe then you'll embarrass yourself less often.
