Handicappers will never hit 60%

Sure we will, but I can make slightly more money over 250 bets at a 55% win rate than I can with 50 bets at a 65% win rate.

At 57.5%, over 250 plays, I can make more than twice as much profit than hitting 65% over 50 plays.

On top of that, there is safety in numbers as we have to deal with variance and we are more likely to reach our expectation with a higher number of plays.

The 60% win rate is really too high as well, for the same reasons. I used 65% to make the point.

This thread will probably get deleted though, so not sure you'll see this.
