If you really like a team and want to go the futures route, I'd put some in now and maybe double down if you get a good draw. You usually get better value though by just betting every game in the tourney and just doubling down.

The better your team plays the rest of the season,it could lower your odds hypothetically if your picking them to win it all. Noticedyesterday Virginia was+450, today after win on the road are +400. That being said,would bet most wait.
