I picked it up a couple of days ago upon suggestion by a friend, and I'll be dammed if I couldn't put the thing down. A lot of great insight into the impact of randomness on just about every system one could think of.

I was wondering if anyone else has read this book? Thoughts? Impressions? Other books like this I should check out?

    Thanks in advance.

I read it and like it. But if you know a little about probability you won't find the book that special. Nate Silver's "The signal and the noise" is about predictions too.

Excellent. A lot of insight into how the internet age has granted us access to lots more information, and that often times this can be a BAD thing. Does some great analysis on how to combat overfitting. I learned a lot from it.
