Betting the draw system - please share your thoughts on this
    Hi all,

I've been running a betting system that works with betting the draw on every game.
I choose around 350-400 teams a year and spread a portion of my bankroll on all teams.
As a draw will happen eventually, when a team losses I raise the bet on the next game (size of bet depends on odds of the game and on the odds of a draw occurring), when a team wins I reset the initial bet if the team "has more draws to make" in the season.
Every team is planned to hit a certain number of draws and return a certain amount of money (depends on the league and the team). when a team reaches it's money goal or average of draws planned it's removed from the spreadsheet.
when a team has a long streak with no draws I might consider and share the loss of the team between all other teams so the other teams will return the loss.

that is my system in a nutshell, any thoughts?

OK, so tell me how long have you been betting like this? How many levels are you prepared to bet on a draw on one team?
It's proven when, say, 5 teams out of 100 won't have a draw 15 times in a row, you'll go bankrupt

You're not calculating any edge in each match, merely playing stake games unrelated to your advantage. This is basically the same as going into a casino and using martingale, unfortunately.

i'm with tommy. Once a team reaches a 10+ game win/loss streak, you're going to be biting your nails.

Side note --- where do people read that martingales are a +EV strategy? Who actually believes this?

well I've been testing and using this for the 3rd year, and yes I have teams that are on a 10+ run, the thing is that the other teams are raising my bankroll slowly, and as said when a team reaches a really big run I spread it's loss across the other teams (and the losing team as a new streak) which are winning the loss back in portions...

I bet around 2-15% of my BR - which is divided among the teams

Great system, what could possibly go wrong?

it's not that i'm betting blind on every game, I know how to avoid some games and reduce my streak + I know how to size my bets
