Try one of those micro jobs services perhaps, eg Mechanical Turk. I seriously thought about that before someone schooled me in scraping techniques.

Have you tried Googling Sportsdatabase ? There is a pretty incredible free DB out there that a lot of people use with the SDQL. Just google both of those and I think you'll find everything you need. No need to hire a programmer.
