Historical line (spread and moneyline) and scoring data. NFL, NBA, NCAAFB, NCAABB
A few years back I hoped to download some easy historical data for the four sports listed above.

    Needed were:
Scoring (finals required, per period appreciated)
    Spreads (Final required, history appreciated)
    Totals (final required, history appreciated)
MONEYLINE (most important for me. final required, history appreciated)

A few years ago I had no luck finding a place to download this data in an easy to use format so I took to screen scraping but that source has dried up.

Have any places come about for easy downloads?

Save this, any easy screen scraping site suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,

I feel your pain. It is a constant battle to find the data you want from a source you can trust. Here are a few that I found useful at one point or another:

mrnfl.com - very basic nfl and ncaafb data w/ spread and total that can be copied and pasted into a spreadsheet

covers.com - typical boxscore data with spread and total that is a pretty easy scrape

I think your best bet for past moneylines you may just have to calculate it if you have reliable spread information. You could also look them up using pregame.com's Sportsbook Spy, but I am not sure that it is scrapable. That's my two cents but hope others can enlighten us further.

Haven't had much time to investigate it but it looks like oddsportal.com may have past moneyline data you are looking for

This is a place to get a few years of starter date.
I don't have any connection with these guys so there are no guarantees. They send a monthly update in spreadsheet format. I signed up last summer and so far they seem OK. No spam, etc.
The historical data archives are easy to cut and paste to a spreadsheet. There is a one year gap between what is posted in the archives and what you get in the monthly email. They sent me the info to fill in the gap when I asked for it. Haven't ask about the source of the data and don't know how long they will continue sending it.

If this is what you are asking -
"There is a one year gap between what is posted in the archives and what you get in the monthly email. They sent me the info to fill in the gap when I asked for it."

Send them an email and ask if they will send it.
