I'm just as confused as you are as to how this game was so one-sided.....I'm on TCU for what it's worth...Their defense has been impressive all year except agains OK (best team in Big12 in my opinion) and their offense has become explosive as well....Utah's homefield does scare me though

NIU is not this bad....or at least they havnt been in every game ive seen this year....I mean they lost @ minnesota by 4 @ western IL by 3 and @ Tenn. by 4 can they really be this bad?

i really thought illinois was the play. most people o nthsi site were on it, and my TWO handicapper services sent me the same play.

but then again, i felt worried because when u get EVERYONE on one team, the other team usually blows them out of the water. same thing happened with redskins on monday.

Hmm, I've seen NIU play before and they seem to have an offensive deficiency.. they seem to play within the confines of the game and stay close. they don't seem to have that "umph" to blow by teams and put them away.. they seem to play good defense though, thus keeping this one close. Ball State doesn't look like much to me. They scored only 10 points at half time against Eastern Kentucky... they seemed to turn it on after halftime though but they never impressed me. May juss go with the NIU plus the points or ball state on the moneyline. Will have to see...

Just like I said NIU has an offensive defiency. Good thing I never played the game..

Well I still think it was the right play based off the facts we had. Ball St did nothing in their first two series and had what shoulda been a 3&out in the third. That roughing the punter play really turned the momentum around. That combined with Ball St stopping NIU on 3 straight third and two or less was killer.
