This is a personal challenge for myself and I don't claim to be a genius, but I do expect to beat my book.

I am not really sure what I just witnessed. Both schools and the refs were awful. I will gladly take a push out of that mess.

The noon games tomorrow don't look great. I am going to put one unit on Wake +27.7 because I think FSU and EJ Manuel are over rated. I am willing to risk a unit to be proven wrong.

Cal and UL Monroe seem like the right side but I want to see if sharp money moves the line late.

How you guys feelin' about ND tonight? I really like them in this spot, and they are IMO slightly under valued bc of Mich taking the last 3. But i feel like Alabama exposed some glaring offensive deficiencies, that ND can also exploit. I want to go big, but have honestly been burned by this very game 2 years running. I want to go BIG on ND -6 and the UNDER. talk me off the ledge, please.

I can admit that I don't think clearly when it comes to ND because I am "that guy" when it comes to my Irish, but if I were to bet the game I think we cover. The only things that scare me are that freshman monster TE for Mich keeping drives alive with big time 3rd down receptions and Denard's feet obviously.

As an objective sports bettor, I think staying away is the best move. ND should win by 21+ but for some reason they never do. Even if ND wins by a TD its to much a sweat I think.

in all honesty I think all the prime time lines are sharp tonight. The only ones that I see value in are Oregon at home and Rutgers on the road.

Oregon is the fastest team in the country and Autzen is a true advantage. Rich Rod will get out coached and D Thomas will be in beast mode.

Rutgers because I will kick the dead horse that is John L Smith until its not fun anymore. Which may never happen. He is the only coach in football that should add +3 to his teams line every game.

Well, PSU hung in there and got it done. I didn't expect them to put up more than 21 vs temple. We are looking good the rest of the way. Need the vandals and Ball State to stay hungry.

The late games are really sharp as I mentioned before. I will most likely make plays on UNLV and Oregon but those are not for sure.

I would love to know what you think about tomorrow though. I went 8-4 in CFB last week and 0-5 in the NFL. Not sure where the disconnect is.

I also spend much more time looking at college games and studying many teams. Maybe you're like me and don't put a lot of time/effort into the NFL?

I think my problem is that I just dont like the NFL and have no passion for it. You are probably right, I dont put as much effort into it. I also dont pay attention week to week the way i do to CFB. The lines are unbelievably accurate too. I will gladly post NFL picks as long it is clear that it is only or fun.
