2* Vandy ML -155 (5D)
I wouldnt even say that Vandy suprised me last Thursday more than i realize the offense for SC needs to get better. Since this isnt about SC, i'll save that for another thread and talk about this game. This is more a fade of Northwestern. When you can pull of a win and be outgained by 259 yards then you probably shouldnt have won. IMO. Not only that, but Syracuse held them to 337 yards (yet they scored 42 points) and i would say with certainty Vandy's defense can do the same. Syracuse even ran about 20 more plays and still found a way to lose.
I will be looking to play on Northwestern during the season. I don't think they're terrible and i think they'll actually get some value down the road. Its just not here against the SEC and vs a team that's better then people give them credit for. Playing in the SEC with all those powerhouses makes teams like Vandy under-rated out of conference. Personally i think this line is right about where it should be. Im not saying there is a ton of value on Vandy either.....but its that i think Vandy handles this and gets the win. Ill play the moneyline instead of taking the only -3 i see and its juiced like a mutha. ML play instead.
