5* recruit. No. 2 QB in the nation coming out of high school.
Now he can't hit the broad side of a barn -- which has been the case his entire collegiate career.

In his defense that last pick was not his fault the WR was not looking for the ball and threw it into the air instead of catching it the guy on that deep ball the last drive should have been able to make a play. Then again he has made some ugly throws too.

He sucked at Texas, and he sucks today. Period.

I was kidding, but my guess is that he was facing some shit comp in high school, and scouts drastically overrated him.
Nobody blames scouts when their projections are way off on players. Its always the players problem.

He was supposed to be a star, according to the rankings.
I'd say he isn't even a college QB at all.
Maybe next year he'll transfer down to Podunk State Community College and shred the Texas JUCO league.

Thats highschool for Christ sakes. Think white and get serious. If he was any good he would still be at UT.

Lake Travis was a great spread system, but he's not the first high rated recruit to fall into his own hype. Barring injury he should still throw for 3,000 in Jones' system, baylor was just here to ball

Did you see his last interception? Just an awful throw; a wobbling duck that was way behind the intended receiver on a simple, short slant pattern.
Guy is pretty much the worst QB I've seen after a weekend of watching games.

Gilbert just flat out Sucks. Will be Betting against SMU against anyone that has a decent QB with receiver core.

Guy was good for 3-4 picks when he started at Texas. I really thought he would move past all that drama in Texas and do much better now that he is not under so much pressure.I guess I was wrong. Will have to see how he does in the next few games.... if he keeps this up, will definitely fade SMU.
