That's not an ignorant question at all, I had no idea how it used to work either. To answer your question, I walked in there with a money locked pouch with roughly 35k and had to gain the override permission to place the wager. There are people all over here throwing down A LOT more money, this isn't very much in comparison to the big fish. BOL to all MSU backers, let's get this

You walk up to a counter and say "I want to bet X on Michigan state moneyline (or whatever # Michigan state is)" and they put it in for you risking X, you give them cash, and they give you the ticket he posted.

Sorry man, I didn't even pay attention to this thread. Yea you pretty much buy a ticket from the sportsbook counter. If your play wins you go back with your ticket to collect your money. Best feeling in the world when you make that victory march to the counter!

Thanks I cashed in on Washington ML last night too and Louisville ML today. May sit out on tomorrow night's game since it's virtually a toss up, we'll see. I hope you had a good weekend as well!
