I don't know what to think with Boise. Last week hopefully was an anomaly and Hawaii's offense is so horrible you got to think they can put up 40+ even on the island.

Oregon off an emotional win at USC, looking ahead to Stanford next week. Having to play 3 of the last 4 on the road and Jeff Tedford who knows Oregon's offense better than anyone else. My only concern is Maynard's hurt knee and Allen being out at WR.

Last week with Boise, I think they ended up playing a pretty good SDSU team that got a couple breaks there way and was able to pull off the win.

Having said that Hawaii's team is so horrible, Boise can easily put up 40/50+ on this team. The only factors that would limit this would be how fast Peterson pulls his starters out of the game and if Boise gets affected by the heat/humidity since this is a earlier game on the island than usual. Nevada ended up putting up 69 points on this team at home after a slow start.

When it comes down to it though I think Boise wins this handedly on the island. Boise 52-10.

Hey Mac! I remember you had some hard luck on Thursday with Florida State, so I figured I'd stop by with a bit of info for you. I don't have time to do a full write up (haven't had time in about a month it seems like), but I'll throw a couple bits of reasoning your way. I don't want to take over your thread, but thought I'd get you started on some research.

West Virginia @ Oklahoma State Total U 77

Weather: Cold front moving in right around halftime with Southern winds at 25 to 35 mph for the whole game (gusts expected up to 45 mph).

Effect: Obviously wind has the most significant impact on passing the ball and kickers. Boone Pickens Field is one of those rare exceptions that runs East to West.

OSU Kicker (Quinn Sharp): Responsible for 54 of OSU's 340 points (15.9%) with 78.3% accuracy (only really struggles from beyond 40 yards)

WV Kicker (Tyler Bitancurt): A 40% kicker on 10 attempts that struggles from everywhere on the field

Wes Lunt is being reported as Questionable as of 5 hours ago (Concussion) and J. W. Walsh was reported out for the season on October 21, leaving behind Junior Clint Shelf to mantle the burden at QB. Shelf has seen the field occassionally since 2010, but had only had 8 passing attempts prior to coming into the game and losing to Kansas State.

That's about all I can squeeze in right now. Again, not trying to steal your thread Mac, but just wanted to drop a bit of research for you because of the Florida State debacle.

I am riding in a big way on Rutgers -17 at home against Army, Georgia -14 -120 at Auburn, and I also like Notre Dame -19 at Boston College, but not as much as these two other games, as I am very high on them. See you at the pay window this weekend many times my friend!

As someone who lives in Oklahoma, everyone is use to the wind. Obviously really, really bad wind is gonna effect balls. It was sunny and clear today a beautiful day. It is true a coldfront is in the forecast. However it is for mid to late afternoon/evening. I think it will be sunny and weather should not be a factor. This is not to undermind the common sense angle your suggesting. Not bad... I think it could go either but dont consider it strong play. It will be close.

Bad defense trumps all. Oklahoma St. will not have to kick to score or really throw for that matter other than balance. My boys little league team might be able to gash WV D in the run game.

I think WV can score many ways too and OSU D is bad too.

They are absolutely dreadful but you never know what motivates these kids. Same with Auburn, they're known to suck hard but pull off one upset. Auburn traditionally has fcukked the SEC east powers. Arkansas and Texas Tech both shitting the bed today. Texas Tech looked to be rolling then just got stuck in the mud and forgot how to tackle. They're letting Kansas run all over that ass. Then Arkansas runner fumbles the ball on the 1 yard line trying to reach for the goal like an idiot. Then they give up a 4th and 9 TD at the end of the half. Fcukking bad beats already.
