This game is very big for several reasons. Auburn comes into this game after being thumped last week in Morgantown and Ole Miss comes into the game after a road victory in Fayetteville. Auburn is looking to avoid a 4th straight loss that would put Tommy Tuberville directly on the hot seat and Ole Miss is trying to get one step closer to being bowl eligible for the first time since 2004.
Ole Miss is led by Texas transfer Jevan Snead and Dexter McCluster. Auburn is led by true Sophomore Kodi Burns and RB Ben Tate.
Look for Ole Miss to really get after Burns who has a 47.6% completion rate, 1 TD pass, & 4 INTs. Ole Miss leads the SEC in tackles for a loss and should have no problem disrupting Burn's timing. Even though Ole Miss' secondary is a weakness, they will still stack the box and dare Burn's to throw.
Ole Miss offense has been troubled by turnovers this season, but these past couple of games they seemed to have kept turnovers to a minimum. Ole Miss has also been able to move the ball really well behind Snead and McCluster out of the famed Wild Rebel formation.
