Teasers in football

I really enjoy reading the posts on the SBR board but I don't see many people touting teasers on here. I made a killing (relative to my BR) towards the end of last year once I figured out a good strategy and have been looking forward to football starting up so I can use them all season long. I thought about keeping a thread up on here about them to see if they are really as 'profitable' as my memory serves.

i prefer 6 point 2 teamers and honestly more so in nfl but i did hit one yesterday with s.car and byu..i like the idea of teasing sparty i put them with neb -13.5 on sat (didnt really see another gm tonight i thought warranted the tease).. congrats on hitting the 1st, i would suggest trying not to use totals to often as college totals end so far off the number a decent amount of the time...hard to argue with the one you got going for 2day even tho i really dont have feel for ncst/ten gm 10.5 outta be good....BOL

Not bad at all with +150 value. Those picks were relatively safe ones too, I really never respected the value of teasers I suppose.

yea when it comes to teasers and totals i like bigger point tease and nfl totals no doubt, you can take 10 points and start messing with nfl totals and it pretty easy to come up with 3 teams @ -110..

yea vtech crossed my mind, but pissed i never could get neb -17 str8 and it was on its way to -20..getting them under 2 tds in a gm where i feel they have huge adv in what they like to do seemed like cake to me...6 point ev money msu-.5 and neb-13.5..i will prob look more into vtech and another team to go with them on sat..

I can see this hitting but in my mind, right or wrong, I think getting MSU down to just having the win to cover is the safer play. The second teaser I would do on this game would be to tease the TOTAL up and go UNDER.

yea vtech crossed my mind, but pissed i never could get neb -17 str8 and it was on its way to -20..getting them under 2 tds in a gm where i feel they have huge adv in what they like to do seemed like cake to me...6 point ev money msu-.5 and neb-13.5..i will prob look more into vtech and another team to go with them on sat..

I will probably pair VT with Louisville on Sunday or with West Virginia Saturday.

i str8 laid the chalk on wvu (grabbed at -24 but id still play)...sux it a rivalry and more times than not marshall finds a way to ugly this gm up but im pretty high on geno smith/holgerson and year 2 of the air raid, think wvu gonna have to shoot themselves in the foot repeatedly not to cover this number, i had something like 49-17 so dont mind laying all the points....

Agreed. WVU should score plenty and I think 24 is very doable which is why I am especially confident in including them in a teaser tomorrow. BAMA will be in 1 or 2 as well as I think they spank Michigan.

Well you already know what I think about the second teaser

I have no feel for Clemson/AU so I am staying away. I would tease Ohio UP rather than PSU down but you cover if they just win so that isn't bad.

I killed it last year with 10 point teasers in the NFL. Usually teased down O/U lines and watched games involved Saints/Packers/Patriots earn me some easy money. I am looking forward to next weekend's NFL teaser action. If a thread is not up on the NFL board next weekend about this I will start one over there too.
