I took Michigan State at 90-1 odds at 5Dimes (its much lower now) as my pick to win it all this year.
The spartans have a great coach, outstanding returning defense and a great running game. The queston marks are the QB and WR's. Michigan State has been QB univerisity lately as they have produced Smoker, Stanton, Hoyer, Cousins and now everyone is wondering what they will do. Well they have a kid named Andrew Maxwell, and he is well seasoned and poised to take over. In fact, Maxwell looks to have the best arm of that entire group and he has good size as well and has learned under Cousins.
The schedule is brutal starting with boise state, but on the flip side, when you throw in the big 10 championship I think that allows them to even lose a game, but I see the spartans as the team to make a run from the big 10 and put a team in the BCS championship.
