Hawaii at USC

I can't believe how many of you people are seriously giving Hawaii a chance to cover in this game.. I'm from Hawaii, and believe me -- the entire state knows it, that we are going to get massacred by SC. It might be the worst in history. We got a new coach in Norm Chow, who was pretty terrible in UCLA.. What's worse, is we got the crappy recruits from the last loser coach, who we had to fire. I heard on the radio that USC's got something like 55 all Americans on their squad.. Hawaii's got 1.. Some cornerback. Our starting quarterback is proven terrible this year. We lost what little talent we had as seniors last year.
I seriously couldn't figure out why the line was so low at -38 (now -40), but now that I read some of your idiotic posts giving Hawaii a chance, I understand. Everbody remembers the capability of June Jones' run and shoot offense to score plenty points, and quickly, but just know that those days are gone, gone, gone. Hawaii probably loses by more that 60 pts on this one.

With the exception of beating UCLA down last year, when else has Kiffin ever run up the score??? I really can't remember a game that he's coached where he didn't call off the dogs early? Now they may still win by 50 even after calling off the dogs but Kiffin tends to play real conservative when he has a big lead.

Last year USC was a 23' point favorite at home to a Minnesota team that ended up 3-8, and they only managed a 19-17 win. Just saying 38 points is a lot, and crazier things have happened early in the season.

Hawaii has lost to much, and I am going to ride with a dime on USC. It is one of my top 3 or 4 pics for the opening weekend, along with Michigan State and Oregon. I am also leaning towards taking Alabama as well. Sending nothing but positive energy for a great and successful college football season to you!

Even after Kiffin calls off the dogs, USC's 3rd and 4th teams will still be pounding Hawaii. Hurts me to admit this, as a lifelong UH warrior, but I'm gonna turn my knowledge into cold-hard cash. You all have seen how blowouts ensue. Hawaii has no idea how to defend SC, in the air or on the run. Minnesota is still part of a BCS conference. Hawaii might be like 1 and 10 this season, but you all are too far from the rock to realize it. But please, keep pounding Hawaii on the books, lol

Remember the PSU bowl game. They tossed that team all around the field and had them looking like a jr high team, yet late in the game they start fvckin around and gave USC backers a heart attack. PSU almost covered a game they were never ever in.

the thing with usc is they have been capable of scoring and have scored big in plenty of games, they just have been thin on d these last couple of years. supposedly they have shored that up and are supposed to be the best team in the universe, didn't you read the ap poll?
