Penn State -6 against Ohio home opener.....hammer in teasers?

Yeah, Penn State lost a lot of starters (RB, WR1, WR2, TE1, 2 top O-lineman, #1 and #2 defensive lineman, starting kicker and starting punter). Good players like Silas Redd and Justin Brown transferred, can't blame them for leaving, but -6 against Ohio......really?

That spread is just begging to be teased to PK, does anybody really think a MAC team is going to go into Beaver stadium and beat the Nittany Lions? No way, Penn State may get rolled by the better teams later on in conference play but they still have too much talent for a MAC team. After all the controversy in the off-season, you can expect the first home game of the year to be packed even more, 100,000+ fans screaming their heads off. Big home field advantage + better talent = Penn State wins

I really expected the spread to be -10 or -14, -6 is a gift......it's just an over-reaction.

bobcats likely top team in mac, really like their qb tettleton and defense though they did lose their top WR's from LY. should be a very low scoring game that bobcats could steal by a fg.

Yeah, I was reading up on that. Might just place a small bet, I'd still be very surprised to see Ohio win. Losing to a MAC team in the home opener would be devastating for fans.

Would stay away from early Penn St. games until one can get an idea on how good their backup players are. The team may rally together against all the stuff that has happened, or they may fold up shop. Time will tell.

Ravens too good at home, especially MNF and home opener against a divisional rival. You saw what they did to the Steelers last year in the 1st game. Ravens and Penn State teased to PK.....dare I say lock?

Ravens did take Pitt out to the woodshed in first game last year, but that was a big statement for Balt and Pitt came out flat. I like Bengals +7 here. You have it teased, and Ravens probably will win. However, would not call it a lock.

first team to come out with names on the jersey. theyll def be motivated. on the con side, even though mcgloin has picked up obriens offense quickly, it doesnt mean everyone else has. its very complex. i def think lions win, but not sure id put money on it. an early mistake or turnover could deflate the whole team. and solich is no slouch. doin great job at ohio u. tex, none of the kids on this team or their coach had anything to do with that friggin sick bastard sandusky, so why hate on them?
