Yeah, Penn State lost a lot of starters (RB, WR1, WR2, TE1, 2 top O-lineman, #1 and #2 defensive lineman, starting kicker and starting punter). Good players like Silas Redd and Justin Brown transferred, can't blame them for leaving, but -6 against Ohio......really?
That spread is just begging to be teased to PK, does anybody really think a MAC team is going to go into Beaver stadium and beat the Nittany Lions? No way, Penn State may get rolled by the better teams later on in conference play but they still have too much talent for a MAC team. After all the controversy in the off-season, you can expect the first home game of the year to be packed even more, 100,000+ fans screaming their heads off. Big home field advantage + better talent = Penn State wins
I really expected the spread to be -10 or -14, -6 is a gift......it's just an over-reaction.
