My first season long thread, should be lots of fun!
Time to document my leans, bets, successes, and failures.
I have had a history of betting entirely too many games in a given weekend. You will see after I post my leans for week 1.
Week 1 Leans...
SC -7, Vandy has no offense and SC's heisman candidate will wear down the Vandy front 7.
La Tech +7, A&M is completely rebuilding, they lost their best player and Tech can score points in a hurry, wouldn't be suprised if Tech wins outright.
BYU -14, BYU is improving every year and Wazu is just awful.
Mich. St.-7, MSU's defense will be the key to victory, they have an excellent front 7 and will shut down Boise's rungame, and BSU lost all 4 DL starters from a year ago.
Navy +16.5, Navy will control the ball and the clock so scoring will be at a premium. With their sarting QB out this will make it even harder for ND to cover.
Ohio+6, PSU is in shambles, they are scrambling to fill positions. I see a low scoring affair and Ohio might win outright.
Ohio St-22, I HATE OHIO STATE! But I bet with my wallet and not my heart. They have alot to prove and I believe they will start the season off with a bang at Miami OH's expense.
Bowling Green +29, I dont see Florida even scoring 28, so a lone TD might cover for BGSU.
Wyoming +28.5, Wyoming plays with confidence no matter who they are playing and don't get too down on themselves. I see them in this game til the middle of the 4th before UT starts to kill clock
FIU+4, FIU should beat Duke straight up, so the points are a plus.
USC-38, USC has to completely destroy every team they play in order to make it to the BCS championship game. The BCS is in love with the SEC and will put 2, 1 loss SEC teams in over an undefeated USC squad with close wins. BLOWOUT CITY!
Washington-14.5, Price is a human highlight real and that offense is no joke. SDSU could keep it somewhat close, but UW will pull away late for an easy cover.
Oregon -35.5, Oregon is in the same boat as USC but needs to look even better and blow teams out by even more. One way to get noticed is to score an astronomical amount of points in week 1.
As you can see I Have a ton of leans and will most likely bet 75% of these games.
Any and all input will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance guys!
