Season long thread, my very firt one to track all of my leans, bets, and ideas.
My first season long thread, should be lots of fun!

Time to document my leans, bets, successes, and failures.

I have had a history of betting entirely too many games in a given weekend. You will see after I post my leans for week 1.

    Week 1 Leans...
SC -7, Vandy has no offense and SC's heisman candidate will wear down the Vandy front 7.
La Tech +7, A&M is completely rebuilding, they lost their best player and Tech can score points in a hurry, wouldn't be suprised if Tech wins outright.
BYU -14, BYU is improving every year and Wazu is just awful.
Mich. St.-7, MSU's defense will be the key to victory, they have an excellent front 7 and will shut down Boise's rungame, and BSU lost all 4 DL starters from a year ago.
Navy +16.5, Navy will control the ball and the clock so scoring will be at a premium. With their sarting QB out this will make it even harder for ND to cover.
Ohio+6, PSU is in shambles, they are scrambling to fill positions. I see a low scoring affair and Ohio might win outright.
Ohio St-22, I HATE OHIO STATE! But I bet with my wallet and not my heart. They have alot to prove and I believe they will start the season off with a bang at Miami OH's expense.
Bowling Green +29, I dont see Florida even scoring 28, so a lone TD might cover for BGSU.
Wyoming +28.5, Wyoming plays with confidence no matter who they are playing and don't get too down on themselves. I see them in this game til the middle of the 4th before UT starts to kill clock
FIU+4, FIU should beat Duke straight up, so the points are a plus.
USC-38, USC has to completely destroy every team they play in order to make it to the BCS championship game. The BCS is in love with the SEC and will put 2, 1 loss SEC teams in over an undefeated USC squad with close wins. BLOWOUT CITY!
Washington-14.5, Price is a human highlight real and that offense is no joke. SDSU could keep it somewhat close, but UW will pull away late for an easy cover.
Oregon -35.5, Oregon is in the same boat as USC but needs to look even better and blow teams out by even more. One way to get noticed is to score an astronomical amount of points in week 1.

As you can see I Have a ton of leans and will most likely bet 75% of these games.

Any and all input will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance guys!

I think the road is paved to the NCG for either Oregon or USC as long as they go undefeated.

I have a dime on Michigan State, USC, and Oregon so I hope you are able to take the stroll to the pay window with me! My other bet I am leaning on is Alabama, but have not pulled the trigger as of yet.

Im a Michigan fan, and I think they have a good shot to pull the upset here. If the number goes over 14 it might be worth a shot.

Taking SC off of my list. Line opened at 7 in favor of SC, 91% of the public money is on SC, and the line moves to 6.5. No thank you!

All of my bets are ith my local, so I can chance my bets up until kickoff.

                          How can you judge Wazzu?

They have a new coach who is an offensive guru. They have a very talented QB who has a ton of experience and have a top 3 receiver in the country!

BYU vs speed positions tend to struggle. When the players go on their LDS missions they come back stronger in the trenches as they are older but they skill set tends to erode. Throw in the fact they are very youthful and shallow at the RB position laying the points is a risky play.

Who is gonna guard all the passes on the outside? Wazzu WR> BYU DB and given the fact that Wazzu is gonna throw 50 plus times that is a huge advantage.

They are gonna have a hard time tomorrow. BYU is talented, yes, but give me Wazzu plus way to many points. They also have an experienced backup in case the oft injured Tuel gets hurt.

An offensive guru is a dead on analysis. However these are not his recruits, he is going to implement an offense with what he has, not what he wants.

Wilson went 1006 as a frosh and 1388 as a soph in receiving yards who is a top 5 NFL prospect and has elite high end speed.

Tuel was highly regarded as well as they burned his red shirt halfway through his frosh year to get him playing time.

I guess these guys are not gonna be rejuvenated with Leach there. I am sure they are still bummed out that Paul Wolfe is gone.

I really can't take your analysis serious. You are a weekend warrior handicapper. Do you watch college football? You just told me because Leach did not recruit any of these players they will not be running the Air Raid attack. Rather they will be running the same offense they had last year. Wow. Check back here tomorrow when on the 1st possession of the game when Wazzu is in a 4 WR formation.
