Ty Willingham gets fired at Washington

He will step down at the end of the year. In his four seasons (all losing seasons) he went 11-32 overall and had at least a six-game losing streak every season.

Right now the Huskies are in the throes of a nine game losing streak. It will ben Ten after USC hangs a 70 on them this Saturday.

Willingham is a fraud, and I have no idea how he managed to get hired by Washington.

I read some really crazy facts about him this past week.

Charlie Weis has won more Pac-10 games (8) than Ty Willingham did at Washinton (6).

Additionally, I didn't realize that his last two years at ND, he failed to recruit a single OL. Making it worse for ND, of the 40 players Willingham signed at ND during his last two years, only 10 ever played.

It got worse for Washington. He went 2 years without an OL, and in three of his four years at Washington, he recuited only 3 DL total.
