    Penn State @ Ohio State
Penn State -2 @ Ohio State

I can't believe this spread. Seriously I can't. There are 2 things that I believe are causing this spread to be this low.

    1) The ass-whooping that Ohio State put on Michigan State last week combined with a scary first half by Penn State that saw them going into the lockers at half-time trailing by 10 points at home against Michigan, yes, I said Michigan.

Now Ohio State played well, but they put 45 points on only 332 total yards. The reason? 5 turnovers by Michigan State.

Penn State woke up in the second half and they realized that if they kept day-dreaming about the upcoming game with Ohio State, then they will probably lose the game against Michigan. In the end they won 46-17, but the mere fact that they trailed in the first half against a terrible Michigan team combined with a solid win by Ohio State has the public a little unsure on how good Penn State is.

    2) History. Penn State is 0-7 SU and ATS in Columbus since joining the Big Ten. But they had also lost 9 straight against Michigan before last Saturday.

Penn State wins at least by 7, with the double digit possibility not too far-fetched

    Penn State -2 max play

    Good luck.

I agree, Ohio St. chocks in big games. They won impressively last week, but Penn St. has done that all year.

So I feel taking Penn State -2 is a great play. I have the total capped at 48.

        Good luck.

Very close game, if it wasn't because of the fumble I don't believe Penn. State would have won. Ohio State played really good defense but I think Penn. State play-calling was extremely conservative as I though they could take advantage of the long pass and the times they tried it it worked. I guess the conservative aproach worked since the freshman made a big mistake and they capitalized on it. Outstanding job by the offense as far as penalties since that place was loud and they stayed focused.

Penn. State won by 7 and covered easily the 2 points but the game was way closer than I expected. A win is a win, I'll take it.

Great analysis Cheme82. I won 1G on that game on pure luck. The fumble on 3rd and short was the whole game. They had momentum, pounding ball on a tired Defense, and controlling clock. The whole game boils down to that one play, no doubt about it!
