How does a team get 1 point?

I'm rooting for Calgary (on my espn Beatthestreak contest), and right now the score is 11-1.

I'm currently tied in 3rd place in the wins for the month part of the contest.

1) a touchback
2) a field goal that misses but goes into the endzone

Its a free contest over 10K people playing, I had to take this game so I can make another pick when the game ends. If I didn't make a choice in this game I would still have the same amount of wins in the contest. So its best to take games where you can make the most picks for the day. I have 22 wins, the leader has 24. 2 people who have 23 took Boston Red Sox, so I will move up, if it says that way.
