    Write up
    North Carolina +6 (-110) 1 unit**BET WON**

Last week Rutgers was held to less than 10 points for just the second time in 29 games. Mike Teel moved the team between the 20s, but Rutgers had problems all game long getting into the end-zone. They were able to generate just 3.1 yards per carry and Teel made two key mistakes, both ending in interceptions. The Rutgers defense allowed 5.3 yards per carry and 422 yards in total. The Tar Heels had to come from behind to win against McNeese State and it took a huge game by Brandon Tate to do it. Tate will be the most explosive man again on the field for this one, as he netted 397 all-purpose yards last week. He returned a punt 82 yards for a TD and a kickoff 54 yards. He also carried the ball three times for over 100 yards, and caught a TD pass for 57 yards. Overall, this North Carolina team has 10 starters back from their offense last season. Rutgers really struggled on offense, and if Tate gets free for an easy one, it is going to be hard for the Scarlet Knights to get it back. Both of these teams should play better this week, but unless Rutgers finds some consistent yardage in the backfield, UNC will be right there at the end. I like UNC + the points in this one.

    Other plays for me

    1 unit each
Fresno St +3 (bought 1 pt)
    BYU -7 (bought 1/2 pt)
Georgia Tech +7 (bought 1 pt)
    USC -10 (bought 1/2 pt)

10 pt teaser for 2 units
    Fresno St +12
    Georgia Tech +16
    USC -0.5

7 pt teaser for 1 unit
    Georgia Tech +14
    BYU -1.5
    Michigan/ND under 44

Nice one....gotta love a young team w/so many kids coming back! It's not like they were as bad as 4-8 last year w/so many close losses! Va. Tech at NC next week...could be some value there?

adding 1 unit on Baylor -2.5 for tonite....

Art Briles is a good coach, Robert Griffin will come into his own at QB... Baylor likes to throw the ball and the strength of its team are their receivers, so WSU's secondary....the youngest part of its defense with three sophomores and one true freshman starting... will get tested....WSU is horrible on both sides of the ball getting outscored 105-16 in their first 2 games...WSU may score and put up pts as Baylor's secondary is nothing special but still think with all the above and being at home for the third straight week the Bears win.

Nice call on NC, Pete. Everyone else and their mother seemed to be on Rutgers.
