Week Three Picks

2-1 in my first post last week which makes me 2-1 on the season. Right now I have five for Saturday:

Air Force covers +4.5 at Houston
Fresno St (+1) over Wisconsin
Iowa covers -13.5 over Iowa St
UAB covers +30 at Tennessee
Memphis covers +3.5 at Marshall

Also, I've just been informed that my wager on Air Force has been cancelled due to a change of venue to Dallas. It is still my intent to bet the Falcons. I suspect they are considering a line adjustment.

I just locked in the Air Force bet again. I didn't get as many points this time:

Air Force covers +2.5 vs Houston at Dallas

I use two offshore accounts. Only one allows me to buy the hook and it hasn't posted lines yet. If so, I probably would have bought it up to 3'. That's about the only time I buy the hook, when it's at +2.5 or -3.5, so if the game ends with a 3' differential I get a push instead of a loss.

I looked at some other lines and they were 2-2.5'. One was down to 1'. I went ahead and locked in the 2.5 before it moved against me again.
