The SEC will win the national championship for the next 4 years .....
    Here's why .....

ESPN has a four-year deal with the BCS regarding, television, radio, and digital rights, which started in 2011.
So we have ESPN also in a contract with the SEC and the BCS, and a sport whose national championship matchup is decided primarily by opinions and judging in a system where exposure is key.
Any football fan already knows how controversial the BCS is.

When you are the largest sports media outlet in the world and you sign a contract to promote one conference, and also have ties, and a major influence, to determine who plays in the BCS National Championship Game, something has to give.

Any wonder why Alabama - LSU was the chosen matchup this year, instead of Oregon or Oklahoma state?

They earned it. People continue to hate, The string of championships by the SEC continued before ESPN signed with them. The Bowls are bid separately, the station will play whoever ends up in them, so in theroy your argument just plain sucks. Sour grapes are best thrown out.

      meh

The two best teams ended up playing in the title game this year. I am not saying there was no room for argument, but they were the two best teams.

I just don't see 4 more. That would be 10 in a row. While I think the top SEC teams will be right there in the hunt I just think someone else will slip in and win it one of those years.

USC will defeat any SEC team they play next season. They are the clear cut #1 choice going into the season.

USC will not go undefeated, they will underachieve like always, and should USC play an SEC school for it all.......they will lose. You were very quiet during college football this year. So now with the promise of a new season here comes the USC is the greatest in the world hype. come see me when the Pac-12 wins 3 in a row and USC has 1 of them. How are they a clear cut #1, Let's see who is top dog in the end. I believe it wont be anyone from the Pac-12.

USC would be lucky to finish third in the SEC West next year.

And there were strings of years w/o SEC teams too.
My point is when you have a handful of 1 loss teams the man who owns the product is always going to put his product in the spotlight before the competitions product.

The SEC and BCS are both ESPN "products" and all terms of fairness will never be part of the equation.
The only exception to this rule is if a team goes undefeated...but then you'll always have the naysayers who complain on strength of schedule...ie Boise state

The game is tilted in the SEC's favor there's no question about that

In 2006 everyone thought two teams from the same conference were the best also. And both got their asses kicked in the bowl games.

When you have the SEC playing terrible OOC schedules, there is no way to tell if they were truly the two best teams or not.

SEC plays some cupcakes as everyone does, you should check the schedules before you say the SEC out of conference is soooooo bad. 6 in a row is no fluke or ESPN'ed helped, Its just better football.

I disagree this year...Alabama played no one except Penn State...the 1st 9-6 game was god awful football and the national championship game sucked.
USC, Oregon, Oaklahoma State were all better then then the SEC slop ESPN forced down our throats this year

Only a USC fan would think such a thing.
