Hopefully next year this will be a new thread. And assume it would not be at stadium either played their prev. Bowl game. Would still favor bama by 10. But okie st would make some first downs

Also heard that LSU's bus hasn't made it back to Baton Rouge. Someone painted a 50 yard line across I-10. And couldn't get acrossed it

I also think oregon beats lsu. Feel it must be manditory to have won your conference to be in the BCS title game. If they are going to continue this bull crap

agree, thats probably a bit inflated because of the last games and location though.

If Oklahoma St. had taken care of its own business. They would have knocked Bama out of the #2 spot, and played for the National Title.

I will admit that Iowa St had a psychological edge the night they played Oklahoma St.

Those 2 SEC DEFENSES make any offense look bad.

The 2 best teams in the country played for the title. The SEC now has its 6 national title. So let the Chant continue SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC!

BCS championships are not real. They are as mythical as they were when pollsters decided who was #1. We will never know if Bama was better than Oregon, Ok St or Stanford.

The BCS system is not perfect, but it is the system that was in place before the season started, and every team agreed to play by it.

Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, and Oregon all had their chance to knock Bama out of the #2 spot. Arkansas had their chance vs Bama and LSU.

None of these teams took care of their own business when they needed to.

So the results are what they are.

Alabama Crimson Tide National Champs. They earned it on the field.

Now that the season is over. Complaints about the system can made. And changes to the system can be talked about.

^^^ yes it can be talked about. Sec rules for those on that trip. But why not give a shot to oregon vs lsu or the tide or okie state vs the lsu/bama. And to those who post that know the outcome for sure. Start a service that predicts 100% outcomes

On January 9, 2012 college football was still under the current rules of the BCS System. The 2 best teams in the country played for the national title, and Bama won.

Now that the season is over and a champion has been crowned.

We can now talk about adding a plus 1 game for next season if necessary.

If we get 2 team that clearly seperate themselves from the pack, and end up ranked #1 & #2 at the end of the season, then let them play for the title as usual.

If there's a mess at the end of next season then let the top 4 ranked teams play each other in BCS Bowl games on New Year's Day.

The winners of those 2 games advance to the BCS national title game.

That's just one idea of how it could be done.
