Didn't matter what LSU ran, Bama was there.

Doesn't have anything to do with LSU not showing up, or bad gameplan, or Jefferson playing "one bad game."



Bama man-handled LSU in the trenches, the entire game. Period.

Certainly the best overall single game played I have ever seen in my lifetime.

There have been a ton of great defenses in the 60's and 70's so it's hard to make the "best ever" assumption though...

Didn't take much defense to guard against three plays. That's all LSU ran...the same three plays. Fukk, JJ is probably still trying to run the option at home on Xbox!
