SMU lost 4 of last 6, Pitt coach left, tough game to figure. Big East tends to do better than expected in bowl games. Pitt won 2 straight bowls, 27-10 over Kentucky last year. Leaning toward Pitt but will wait to see how focused Pitt looks and then watch for a good live bet.

I agree with this, nothing against the OP, but a lot of people are sleeping on SMU.

SMU vs. PITTSBURGH...These two once met in a memorable Jan. 1, 1983 Cotton Bowl won by SMU 7-3, Eric Dickerson over Dan Marino in their last college games. Pitt returns to this bowl for a second straight year again with an interim coach. June Jones, however, no covers last six TY for SMU and just 7-15 vs. spread last 22 since mid 2010. June Jones also 1-6 last 7 as dog. Pitt covered its last five this season prior to Todd Graham's departure.

gonna take some OVER 46 also, if SMU shows up even 80%, there will be 7 TD , June Jones ? yeah he likes to score if he can , Pitt Panthers shoulda brought Wanny back

both teams missing their top shelf RB

TOTAL o46½-110 (SMU vrs PITTSBURGH U) 220.00 USD / 200.00 USD ................. halfass insurance , could lose pitt and it goes under, could win pitt and over

Pitt players are looking at coaches who want to be there, SMU players look at coaches who shopped around in zona, got rejected, and came back

Both teams hope to take some heat off marginal quarterbacks. Both, however, are without injured workhorses, Pitt’s Graham and SMU’s Zach Line. The Panthers hope to employ a committee involving rookie Isaac Bennett and veteran Wisconsin transfer Zach Brown, who’s expected back from a bruised sternum. Brown also has soft hands out of the backfield, providing Tino Sunseri with a target on screens and swing passes. The Mustangs’ loss was even greater, because it happened too late in the year for the staff to get backups adequate reps. They have a pair of true freshmen options of their own, Jared Williams, who ran for 80 yards in the finale with Rice, and 265-pound converted NG Rishaad Wimbley, who thundered for 115 yards and two scores in that same game. Wimbley is worth keeping an eye on long-term if he maintains his weight.

IMO - pitt is better at RB and on both sides of the LOS

wind about 8-10 mph in birmingham today, showers not expected to arrive til after game or very late in game, 46.5 does seem like a low total, hopefully june jones will rely on the pass today.

The Panthers closed out the season on a five game ATS winning streak, while the Mustangs have had trouble covering the number all year.

Had Pitt also course they look like the worse team to play in a bowl game this season. 3 points against SMU at half figures.

                              Sniper?
I say this with all due respect, but if you don't get this over, you be ruined.

I'm on the Mustangs myself, but now I hope I lose just so you don't get hammered.
