As a So Miss fan I'm very weary of the fact the team broke the D-1/FBS record for defensive TD's + benefited greatly from stellar special teams this season. I think that advantage is both hard to predict + harder to replicate with more time for the opponent to prepare. Overall the So Miss QB is very average in passes of 10+ yards or more despite what you might have witnessed vs. Houston. The Nevada QB is a big body duel threat QB which So Miss has always struggled with under Fedora.
I am very concerned about the motivation factor with a lame duck coaching staff at So Miss especially against a team who has experience playing in Hawaii.
I would lean Nevada gaining 7 or more. Good LuckComment -
the hard part to decide is not even the qb. The loses that nevada have are game that hard to win. boist stat, texas tech. South miss have easy schedule except the last one houston. so does one game really put a team to skyrocket. and that game is not really surprise they won. i agree with sean81. the recent match against each other dun really count because it is far in the past. it's a little bit over the decade ago. southern have lose to a team they not suppose to uabComment -
