They are not even in the Big Ten Championship game and they are going to the BCS? The BCS is a joke if Michigan plays in it.

#4The Sugar Bowl will lose both of it's tie-in teams if LSU defeats Georgia today. Houston will be one of the teams invited. The Fiesta Bowsl has first shot at the at-large teams, and will take Stanford. That leaves the Sugar Bowl with a choice of taking the Big Least Champion, or an at large team. A two loss Michigan will be the best draw, unless Okalhoma State loses to OU, in which case Okie State may be the choice. No matter who the loser of the Big 10 Championship game is today, that team will have 3 losses. The SEC and Pac 12 will have two teams in BCS games. The Big Least will have one, as will the ACC. That leaves the Big 10 and Big 12 to duel it out for the final spot, because Houston is going to the Sugar bowl if they win today. You will have Oregon vs the Big 10 winner in the Rose Bowl, Stanford vs the Big `12 winner in the fiesta Bowl, the Big Least Champ vs the ACC Champ in the Orange Bowl, and LSU vs Alabama in the BCS Championship Game IF LSU defeats Georgia. That leaves the Sugar Bowl wide open. Now if LSu loses, either LSU or Alabama gets left out of a BCS game because Georgia goes to the Sugar Bowl.Comment -

#61st off Alabama who is not in their conference championship and probly playing for a national championship. So based on the thinking when u wrote this thread, BAMA would be more appropriate then Michigan.
2nd team LSU

#10maybe not top 8, but they deserve a bcs bid more than boise and houston (strength of schedule) and more than bama belongs in the championship game. they had their chance at LSU. Rematches usually go the other way so a bama victory means nothingComment -

#12Originally posted by broadway6do they deserve a BCS game more than the loser of Wisky/Mich St? I agree with you about bama shouldn't be in the championship game, but that has nothing to do with Michigan making it to the BCS.
The big 10 has 10 outta 12 teams in bowls which leads all conferences. NU beat Mich st, mich st beat mich just the way it goes. MSU might get their 3rd loss today, in which they should be eliminated from bcs bowls.
PPL talk shit bout the big 10, it might be the strongest conference. Wisky, Mich, NU, Mich st can compete with anyone, and like i said 10 outta 12 in bowls which beats every conference
If the weak pac 12 gets 2 bids why shouldnt big 10Comment -
