I see 3.5 everywhere when i got 4 I had to jump. Am I old school and just think OKST cant beat OK or will this beat a proven lesson that i shouldn't go off the past?

I dunno but I'm spending 2 dimes on the O.K. factor

Figure if it drops to 2.5 I wont be scared to try and middle btw

      whaley, broyles, lewis...done

jones sucks on the road. the ou deep secondary sucks ass, and i tried to tell people this before baylor. if ostate can keep the sooner line off our qb this game will not be very close...and that is honestly what this game comes down to. if we got time to throw...easy win by 14+. that is not a given against this ou front tho.

btw...no way i would take +4. ou ml if you are gonna play it. this game is not coming down to a kick either way, and for once i honestly feel the points are useless. if ou gets to our qb we lose by 10+...if not then ostate by at least that. i will have ostate for 3 or 4 units prolly...but i will spice up a few parlays with the ou ml to be safe.

I wouldn't touch OU. It makes me wanna puke but I think OSU is gonna drill them.

Ok, made a really long winded post. Going to try to shorten it down:

I see Oklahoma winning this one by about 10 on Saturday, despite injuries. Landry Jones is still underrated and is coming off a bad week furthering this thought. Oklahoma State's offense against Oklahoma's defense will be very fun to watch, but on the other side of the ball we see a completely lopsided affair. Oklahoma State is getting some credit for its showing against Doege and the Red Raider offense. Watch their performance against Tulsa, against Kansas State, against TA&M and against ULL. If you can still tell me that defense can stand up against the caliber of offense Oklahoma brings without cracking a smile I will give you a dollar*.

A lot is being made of the Oklahoma State takeaways this year. Don't buy into the ESPN hype. In their last 3 games they are in the negative for turnover ratio and this number is crazy inflated from both their blowout wins and facing back-up QBs. I will be the first one to say I think Landry throws a pick in this one, but the Oklahoma defense isn't unfamiliar to bad field position.

Last thing, I promise. Oklahoma is 8-2 SU in the Bedlam game going back to 2001 and has beaten the spread 7 times. This include last year when Oklahoma State was also favored to win by about 3. Oklahoma held them under 400 yards of total offense, put up almost 600 against them and kept the turnover margin even at 3 apiece by picking off Weeden 3 times. Landry Jones personally passed for 468 yards.

Don't over think this one, but no matter what I hope everyone enjoys the game. I think we should have some fun talking about this one until Saturday.

wow...usually i enjoy your posts. this is not true tho. what backup qbs are you talking about? in the 5 games before kstate there was something close to 20 tos forced by the ostate d. i think at least 4 were forced against a+m, and their starting qb played the entire game. texas plays a 2 qb system, and i know one of them was in there the entire game. rg3 played the entire game, and so did the mizzou qb. i quit the kansas game at half, tho i don't know why they would have their backup in losing 70-28. i think they forced at least 4 tos in each of those games. how is it "inflated"? maybe you are right about oklahoma winning, but i don't think you need to unfairly take anything away from the ostate d with false statements. the redzone d in those 5 games before kstate was pretty incredible...and 5 games in a row can't be explained away with luck or fluke. they completely sleepwalked thru the kstate game, and the kstate qb played one of the greater and more heroic games i have watched in big 12 play. they destroyed texas tech, but then quit in the iowa state game after going up 17...not because of the crash, but because they felt 100% there was no way iowa state could beat them. no excuses...but that is what happened. there is no way you get that team that played in ames saturday in stillwater for bedlam...but instead the team who demolished tech and baylor. if you think ou without whaley, broyles, and lewis is better than that team...bet it. ostate actually showed up and played incredible in bedlam last year, but ou was better. they fought like crazy, and actually had a very good shot at the end to get even. we return 10 starters on o from that team, and the entire secondary. i just don't see how anyone can look and honestly feel ou has improved since that game, while ostate has not...it is actually the opposite. never know what will happen in football, or with a Rivalry...but the only honest reason to take ou is the past dominance.
