We have some "clean, old-fashioned hate" at Bobby Dodd to kick things off today. Hard for me to pick a team with three ACC losses against an SEC division champ. Looking a little closer at the numbers, UGA comes in with the #2 rush defense in the country. I like the Dawgs to slow down Tevin Washington and Tech's triple option despite them giving up 411 yds on the ground in last year's meeting. Different year, different team.

I like Tech today simply because I don't think Georgia will be as motivated as they will.
I think Paul Johnson pulls some rabbits out of his hat today and Tech keeps this within a FG.

Hopefully Crowell will play if they need him, but they also have Thomas who looks to be a solid backup averaging 5.5 ypc so far this year.

Anyone like a money line parlay on Georgia and Tennessee? That's the way I'm leaning. I agree, this game is looking like it might stay within a FG, but it would be a big momentum (and perception) drain for Georgia to let it slip away completely. Tennessee needs the win to get bowl eligible, and I feel like they can beat Kentucky by at least a last minute FG.

So UGA -.5 and the o/u at 26.5 for the 2nd half. leaning towards the over, but probably a no play. Definitely not taking a side here because who knows how Richt's gonna sub his guys if they're up in the 4th.
