saw a clip of a kid named Adam with tim tebow... caught it halfway threw.. what was wrong with the kid?

the kid Adam has been diagnosed with a life-threatening disease (some long name that I didn't clearly catch). The kid had been in a coma for almost 6 weeks, but they say he just recently got a marrow transplant that allows him to know walk without any support. Good for the kid
