i put 1u on nebraska -3.5 on tuesday because i assumed that some shakeup would happen before the game with the coaching staff and that the line would move to the 10 area. it didn't move. gonna hope i get lucky on this play, but paterno's final message to his team, in tears, was
"Beat Nebraska."
Hoping my 1 unit pays, but now I see this as a definite no-play because we have not seen something like this before.
That being said, all in all, nebraska is the better team.Comment -
Forget the scandal, the kids will play. Penn State is the better team.
I like Penn St + 3.5 with a strong D off a bye at home on natural turf against an artificial turf team that just lost at home to goddam NW and whose defense is not nearly what it has been in the past. And whose running game is not nearly what it has been in the past.
Martinez is not a pocket passer and Penn St D will smother him.
Nebraska snuck up on a letdown mode Michigan State team at home on artificial turf, other than that, Nebraska has not shown much at all. Blown out by Wisky on road natural turf.
