Ohio to roll over Central Michigan Thursday night!

I'm leaning heavily in this direction myself. All signs point to Ohio winning big. Looks like a repeat of N. Ill. and Bowling Green....not getting sucked into the home dog in the MAC theory with this game.

Plus BoDog has Ohio -7 at even payout. All the more reason to pull the trigger on this one. Any compelling reason to take CMU in this spot?

Ohio averages 191.3 rush yards per game...CMU gives up 171. Ohio holds a large advantage in just about every statistical category except for passing yards per game where CMU has a 4 yard edge....

This game SHOULDN"T be close.

hmmm you seriously this confident?

ohio lost to ball state and buffalo. and both of those teams have a worse rush D then central michigan. ranked over 100 i believe giving up over 200 yards a game. those games were played not to long ago.

don't under estimate c michigan. ohio has not played anyone challenging other then rutgers who they lost to. while c michigan played michigan state, kentucky, northern illinois, north carolina state. those teams are a lot more challenging then the teams ohio has faced.

i will gladly take a TD for the home team in a MAC game any day. however, i'd stay away completely due to the inconsistency of this conf.

Yes they did lose to Buffalo and Ball state, but Temple beat Ball state 42-0 and Buffalo 34-0. So shouldn't Temple have crushed Ohio??? You can't look at it that way. Ohio has turned things around and CM doesn't show me enough reasoning to take them.

Well that proves the inconsistency in this conf.

All i have to do is look at Ohio's schedule and wonder why they deserve to be a TD fav on the road.

turned things around? after there loss to buffalo and ball state, they beat akron and temple. the same temple team that almost lost to miami of ohio of all teams at home last night...

i just don't see a great edge taking a visiting team favoured by a td in someone else's backyard. C michigan has also owned ohio in the past. Big time.

Anyhow, the more people on Ohio the better imo. I can't wait to read all the rigged comments about this game tomorrow morning.

CMU had as a whole the worst tackling by their secondary that I have seen in a long time. Im sure they will do a much better job at it tonight...but if Ohio decides to constantly pound the ball they will break CMU. CMU also lost a starting offensive lineman for the year. CMU is the bottom 10 in the country in giving up sacks as well. Their QB is god awful at avoiding sacks and the coaches do little to move the pocket for him on known passing downs. Ohio -7 simply on them having better coaches.

I say it time and time again that the MAC has the worst football in all of NCFB because their weaker teams are usually the worst in college football year in and year out. CMU is one of the bottom 3 worst teams in the conference...just awful football, no team speed, lack of athletiscm on defense, and their coach proved last week has no clue what the hell he is doing. Coaching alone in this matchup is a mismatch and worth 4-5 points. I dont usually bet MAC games but there is a reason this line released at -4.5 and jumped to -7. Take Ohio, and definitely take them in a 2 team teaser.

Radcliffe is short hopping throws and John Carr the corner still cant make a tackle. All of this and Ohio has yet to blitz CMU and the difference in team speed has been evident.
